WisDOT Engineering & Construction Management

Design, structures, inspection, and survey for the state highway program - from STH corridors to the interstates, as prime or teaming partner.

A Consultant WisDOT Projects Can Count On

Lynch & Associates has worked the Wisconsin state highway program from both sides of the plan set: design - PS&E packages, roadway geometry, structures, and environmental documents like the STH 67 reconstruction with its EAT process - and construction management, with our own inspectors on the I-41 North-South corridor, IH-43 from Moorland Road to Hale, the Waukesha Bypass with RA Smith, and the Goold Street reconstruction in Racine (WisDOT ID 2703-11-70).

We also know the municipal side of state work. Three-party bridge projects with WisDOT and the Town of Burlington delivered the Mt. Tom Road and Spring Prairie crossings; the USH 12 bridge rehabilitation carried state structures through renewal; and when WisDOT rebuilt STH 20 through East Troy, we relayed the Village's watermain inside the highway schedule - two night closures, a railroad bore, zero missed milestones. Municipalities with state-funded projects get a consultant who speaks both languages.

The field bench runs deep: survey crew chiefs with the Zoo Interchange study, the I-94 North-South and East-West corridors, Mitchell Airport runway reconstruction, and all three Hank Aaron State Trail phases on their resumes - and a design team currently contributing to the I-94 Stadium Interchange in Milwaukee.

Three Ways Teams Use Lynch

Primes Needing DBE Scope

Certified WisDOT DBE participation with self-performed design, inspection, or survey work - staff with interstate-corridor resumes, not pass-through paper.

Municipal Sponsors

Villages and towns with state-funded bridges, connecting highways, or utility conflicts inside WisDOT projects - we manage the agreement, the design, and the field work.

CM & Inspection Teams

Day-in, day-out inspection and documentation on active corridors - the discipline that kept I-41, IH-43, and the Waukesha Bypass compliant and moving.

Licensure reaches beyond the state line too: through our principals, the firm is licensed in 17 states - useful when a program crosses borders. See the full transportation practice and construction management practice for capabilities in depth.
