Mt. Tom Road Bridge
Replacement

Full-service replacement of the Hoosier Creek Canal crossing for the Town of Burlington, delivered with WisDOT.

A Complete Crossing, Start to Finish

Selected by the Town of Burlington under a three-party contract with WisDOT, Lynch provided full-service design to replace the deteriorated concrete T-girder bridge carrying Mt. Tom Road over Hoosier Creek Canal.

The scope covered project management, preliminary and final plans, bridge and pavement design, hydraulic analysis for adequate waterway conveyance, and roughly 200 feet of approach work on each side to improve alignment, curves, and sight lines.

Lynch coordinated the Town, WisDOT, utilities, and the Drainage District - including in-stream Drainage District improvements completed while the bridge was out of service - plus traffic management and public involvement through final PS&E.
