Construction management and inspection services for pavement perpetuation on one of southeastern Wisconsin's busiest interstate segments.
Between Moorland Road and the Hale Interchange, I-43 carries some of the heaviest traffic in southeastern Wisconsin - and its pavement and drainage showed it. Lynch provided construction management and inspection services for this perpetuation project, which restored the segment with concrete base patching and surface layer replacement to renew ride quality and structure.
Drainage got equal attention: new curb and gutter construction, removal of the existing water conveyance flumes, and restoration of ditches in the adjacent drainage areas. Lynch's field team kept the work documented, compliant, and moving - modernizing how the corridor sheds water while extending the pavement's service life.
Field oversight of the perpetuation contract from start to finish.
Daily inspection and documentation of base patching, resurfacing, and curb and gutter work.
Oversight of flume removal and new curb-and-gutter conveyance.
Adjacent ditches and drainage areas restored for long-term performance.
