A Pad Site Everyone Could Approve
Dropping a new restaurant pad into an operating shopping center means designing for everyone at the table. Lynch delivered a fully engineered Chick-fil-A pad within Chula Vista Center, coordinating with the City, utilities, the fire department, Chick-fil-A's program requirements, and the center's tenants throughout design.
The site work rebuilt sidewalks, parking, and hardscape for ADA compliance, added a concrete ribbon and underground detention system to manage and treat runoff, and enhanced the Broadway frontage with tree wells, decorative concrete, lighting, benches, and bike racks - leaving Brookfield Properties a high-quality, buildable pad and a better-looking corridor.
