Center Road Bridge
Replacement

Replacing a 15-ton-posted rural bridge over Centerville Creek through a three-party contract with Manitowoc County and WisDOT.

From Weight Limit to Full-Strength Crossing

The rural bridge carrying Center Road over Centerville Creek had deteriorated to the point of a posted 15-ton weight limit - a real constraint for farm equipment and local traffic. Delivered through a three-party design contract with Manitowoc County and WisDOT, Lynch prepared the complete replacement design following FDM requirements and the PS&E process.

The team modeled existing and proposed creek conditions to size the waterway opening and evaluate stormwater conveyance and floodplain impacts, updated the roadway approaches and profiles to improve sight distance, and assembled survey, environmental documentation, design reports, plans, specifications, and estimates for WisDOT letting.
